About Us
Who Are We?
My career began in the arts but took a 15 year hiatus in the world of nursing before re-committing to my comfort and obsession ~ fabric and the creative world it provides! I closed my successful brick and mortar quilt shop of 13 years to allow full attention to my design company and website. The years in the shop teaching, creating, visiting, and listening have taught me so much. I miss the stories and the spontaneous 'show and tells' so if you have a quilt to show and a story to tell with it, send it to me, and I'll share it on my "Show and Tell" page. I will share as I design and YOU will get first dibs on purchasing my patterns and kits. I am married to Jim since 1982. We have 3 daughters, a son-in-law and beautiful grand-daughter... life is good!

Creative Assistant - Marggy has been with me since 2001! She is creative and sews perfect - yes, perfect seams and intersections! She can take a panel and turn it into the cutest quilts - watch for her designs here too. She is married with one cat - Capurnicus.

Creative Assistant and Retreat Chef - Bev has been with me since 2001! She is the queen of t-shirt quilts and bakes the best cookies for our afternoon retreat snack (of course with a cold glass of milk). She is married with 3 sons, a daughter-in-law and several 4 legged house friends.
