Curved Piecing

I like curved piecing, I find it very satisfying and fun. My ‘secret weapon’ is a pair of strong bent-tipped tweezers. I use them to grab the edge of the concave curve and ‘nudge’ it to the edge of the convex curve. This is how I do every curved seam and they always come out just right and ready to trim.

This video is a demo for my ‘Turkey Thyme’ feathers. I use these same steps for all my curved piecing.
