You have a sewing machine in the closet, but did not learn to sew from your mom, grandmother or school, what is a person to do? We will teach you the how to use your machine and sewing basics while making a set of pillow cases. This is for the very beginner, sewing machine required.

Beginning Hand Quilting  $25

Traditional hand quilting is one of the most relaxing forms of hand work.  You will learn how to mark, layer, baste, load and hand quilt (rock the needle) on a small project that will prepare you for ‘that’ quilt in your future.  This is truly for beginners, no experience required

A beautiful queen size quilt and shams to dress up your bed.  Learn how to cut and control those long strips, create the look of mitered corners and perfect your piecing skills. Basic quilting experience and sewing machine required.

Beginning Quilting by Machine  $60

Are you ready to learn to piece and quilt by machine, or just need a refresher course?  We will take you step by step through the entire process starting with how to choose your fabric, rotary cutting, machine piecing, layering, basting, quilting and binding a small quilt.  For the very beginner, sewing machine required.

Intimidated by bias edges?  Learn to tame them with this super cuddly throw.  No clipping, no batting... 'sew' simple!  Basic quilting experience and sewing machine required.

 Beginning Hand Piecing $40

This is a wonderful introductory class to the world of hand piecing.  You will learn how to make templates, mark your fabric, cut, and stitch - all by hand.  Make three common quilt blocks while learning to correctly stitch straight lines, curves and points. A good handwork project to keep tucked away in your bag for those ‘waiting room’ occasions.  This is truly for beginners, no experience required.

 Hexagon Topper $30

12:30-4:30 Saturday, February 25

We start with a hexagon template, fabric, batting and a glue stick.  Learn to 'quilt as you go' on each block and have a completed project before you know it.  Basic quilting experience and sewing machine with zigzag required.

Kids Sew  $30

12:30-3:30 Sunday, Feb 26

We will make a new tote bag for all the 'stuff' we carry.  Choosing the fabric to create a bag unique to your personality is part of the fun.  This class is for the 9-15 year old enthusiast.

Bouquet of Beauty  $30

We start with a panel, add borders, miter those corners, layer/baste and machine quilt using a double needle.  When done - a beautiful bouqet that won't wilt to adorn your home.  Basic quilting and sewing machine with zigzag required.

Paper Pieced Pineapple Tablerunner  $30

Create perfect points and straight seams 'gauranteed' with paper piecing.  Learn this easy technique while sewing the pretty pineapple block.  Bring your favorite post card to class!  Basic quilting and sewing machine required.
